Backups you control.
The design includes manual encrypted backups, with a recovery code you keep. Recovering records after a lost or replaced phone depends on having a current, usable backup.

What if my business doesn't match a template?
Start with Generic / Custom, the general business template, and choose from the supported features. Ready-made templates are starting points too. Some tools work together, so the app shows related changes when you adjust your setup.
When can I try it, and what will it cost?
The current beta is for Android, by invitation. You can request access by email. Public release timing and pricing haven't been announced.
Can I take card payments?
BizStead records payments you've received. Use your existing payment method, then record the result in the app. BizStead doesn't process cards or move money.
Can I use it with my accountant?
Save selected-period records as CSV files and choose how to share them with your accountant. CSV exports are readable files; store and share them with care. Nothing is sent automatically, and an export doesn't create a live accounting connection.
Is it a full accounting app?
BizStead helps with business records, invoices and expenses. It doesn't replace your accountant or file tax returns.
Which currency and tax setup does the beta support?
The current beta uses Canadian dollars and focuses on an Ontario HST setup; broader tax support hasn't been announced.
Will it work without an internet connection?
The design keeps business records on your device. Full offline availability is still being confirmed, and connected services and sharing can need internet access.
